The 10th annual NPC Anna Level Figure, Fitness & Bikini Championships and the 34th annual West Palm Beach Bodybuilding & Physique Championships will take place Saturday, June 29 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
This multi-event competition makes for an action-packed day as men and women strut their stuff, showcasing the hard work and dedication they have invested in their body as they compete to become national qualifiers.
The Anna Level Figure, Fitness & Bikini Championship honors Anna Level, one of South Florida’s most respected fitness professionals. This year, the event qualifies winners to compete in all NPC national fitness and figure shows and attain their IFBB Pro Card — one step closer to being in the International Federation of Bodybuilders (IFBB).
The West Palm Beach Bodybuilding & Physique Championship is one of the oldest and most prestigious bodybuilding shows in the country. This year the men’s and women’s physique divisions are open to all NPC competitors throughout Florida.
Top competitors in their divisions qualify for national-level events. In addition, the top finishers in all divisions will also receive paid entry into the 2013 NPC Southern States Championships to be held July 12-13 in Fort Lauderdale. Athletes aren’t the only ones who will be recognized on June 29. The prestigious Team Trainer of the Year Award will be given to the personal trainer amassing the most points derived from the number of contestants they have entered and those contestants placing in their divisions.
Other entertainment includes IFBB Fitness Pro Jennifer Bishop performing her high-energy fitness routine and a special performance by former NFL football superstar Butch Rolle, winner of the 2013 NPC Sunshine Classic Men’s Physique Championship held in West Palm Beach.
Jupiter resident Kyle Wheeler will premiere in his first show as a guest poser. Wheeler recently won first place in the Light Heavy Open division of the 2012 NPC Sunshine Classic held in West Palm Beach and first place in the Open Light Heavyweight division of the 2013 NPC Junior USA’s National Show.
Pre-judging begins at 10 a.m. Admission is $20. The night show begins at 7 p.m. and costs $40 general admission and $45 for VIP admission. For more info., call (561) 627-9638. Proceeds from the show will be used as a fundraiser for the NPC Wheelchair Nationals.
