Kaylee Burkins Completes Army Basic Training

Army Pvt. Kaylee A. Burkins has graduated from nine-week basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.

Burkins studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, the military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field-training.

Burkins is the daughter of Alan Scagliarini of Wellington. She is a 2012 graduate of Palm Beach Central High School.
