The Wellington Art Society has ongoing art exhibitions at the Wellington Municipal Complex gallery. These exhibitions rotate every few months and are juried shows with artwork submitted by the more than 100 members of the society. Most of the work is for sale, and it is a great opportunity to see and buy local art.
The current show features 17 art society members. The artwork includes photography, mixed media, watercolor, oil pastel and acrylic media. Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 24, tours will be given between 11 a.m. and noon, and will continue to be offered the second and fourth Tuesday of each month between 11 a.m. and noon.
Tours are free to the public and are available for small groups or individuals. The group will meet in the Wellington Municipal Complex lobby at 12300 W. Forest Hill Blvd., Wellington.
