Wellington Elementary School kicked off the school year with a visit to ancient Egypt through its Scholastic Book Fair.
The media specialist and volunteers transformed the media center into ancient Egypt, complete with hieroglyphics, pyramids and mummies.
The school’s Book Fair Family Night was a huge success. Students had the chance to receive “mummy tickets” for exceptional behavior and an opportunity to mummify Principal Dr. Eugina Smith Feaman.
All proceeds from the book fair benefit the school library.
