The students in the Acreage Pines Elementary School Biomedical and Veterinary Technology Academy participated in their second annual walk-a-thon on Thursday, Oct. 10. As part of the new program, students are learning about wellness and the importance of healthy living. The students collected pledges and donations from the community to raise money for school beautification projects and materials the medical lab and classrooms.
