The Western Communities Business Group will hold its first mixer of the year at the Wellington Equestrian Gallery & Mall on Thursday, Jan. 16 from 5 to 8 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
The Wellington Equestrian Gallery & Mall is located at 13889 Wellington Trace, Suite 44 in the Wellington Marketplace, next to Wellington Florist.
The Western Communities Business Group is composed of leading, local, community-rooted businesses and business owners who have banded together to build strong, lasting and rewarding relationships with the equestrian community and other local business owners. The goal of the organization is to be responsive to the needs of local businesses and to provide the members with the tools and programs that will help their businesses thrive.
The Western Communities Business Group was established last year with more than 150 members. This year, the group plans to expand its membership base and increase the programs and benefits offered each business.
Last year, the group started by offering its members common advertising options, business promotional programs and creative marketing to reach out to people of the western communities, including members of the equestrian industry that call Wellington home during the equestrian season. This year, membership will also include monthly group activities, such as mixers, luncheons and informative business development seminars.
Any business person located in the western communities is invited to stop by the Wellington Equestrian Gallery & Mall on Thursday, Jan. 16 to network with fellow business leaders. While there, get information about the Western Communities Business Group’s member benefits or share thoughts on future programs.
Guests will be able to either renew their current membership or sign up as a new member this year at a cost of $150 per business membership. Members signed up by Thursday, Jan. 16 will be listed in the first issue of the Western Communities Business Group directory, which will be widely distributed at area shops and equestrian venues.
