New Horizons Elementary School art teacher Katie Graham and her Green Club members planted 25 beautiful flower gardens recently. All supplies used in the project were donated by Lowe’s of Royal Palm Beach. Each garden was “adopted” by teachers and displayed outside their classrooms to beautify the campus. Green Club members are a group of students in first through third grade who have been working on recycling, reusing and earth-friendly projects. The goal is to create a “greener” and more attractive school. Shown here are members of the club working on the flower gardens.
