Residents in central Palm Beach County are now able to save a trip to West Palm Beach to record documents in the county’s official records or file documents in existing county civil court cases.
Starting this week, the Midwestern Communities Service Center in Royal Palm Beach is accepting documents for recording, such as deeds, liens and marriage licenses.
The office will also accept documents to be filed in existing county civil cases, such as small claims and eviction cases.
“Palm Beach County’s western communities continue to grow, which is why I’m committed to expanding our services at our Royal Palm Beach office,” Palm Beach County Clerk & Comptroller Sharon Bock said. “In the past year, we opened our Royal Palm Beach office five days a week and began offering marriage licenses there. I look forward to bringing additional clerk’s services there.”
Last year, the clerk’s Royal Palm Beach office expanded its hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and began offering marriage licenses.
The office, located at 200 Civic Center Way, Suite 500, was previously open twice a week for traffic ticket payments only.
