Each month, New Horizons Elementary School students focus on a different Character Pillar, including caring, trustworthy, respect, kindness, responsibility, fairness, tolerance, citizenship and loyalty. Students learn how to demonstrate each trait and practice it throughout the month. Teachers choose two students each month to receive the school’s Character Counts award.
