This Sunday, July 15, top stylists from around the country will gather at Visions Salon in Wellington to be certified in the American Wave, a revolutionary new hair service. The service has already received plenty of positive press in publications from Cosmopolitan to Modern Salon magazines.
In her blog¸ Carly Cardellino of Cosmopolitan magazine wrote about the treatment she received at Arrojo Studio in New York’s SoHo district, where the service originated.
“I seriously couldn’t believe my eyes — my poker-straight strands now resembled Sarah Jessica Parker’s in Sex and the City,” she wrote.
The service will allow its clients to achieve this season’s hottest looks from beach waves to volume. Arrojo explains on its web site: “Without dryness, damage, off-putting smells or styling restrictions, we can change the texture of hair that is already curly, use it to give fine hair types a volume boost, create a mélange of different textures, and give waves and curls to anyone that wants them. Using creative soft tool design wraps, we have created a new salon service professionals can use to give a new wave of styling options to all salon clients.”
Visions Salon is honored to be hosting the certification and welcomes the opportunity to open its doors to the Arrojo team and all who will attend. “You never stop learning,” Visions Salon owner Tom Monticello said.
