Second graders at New Horizons Elementary School had a “yoking” good time investigating oviparous animals. Students researched these egg-bearing animals by reading informational books and using the “stop and jot” method of note taking. They wrote detailed reports, created hats representing their animals and are presenting their narratives to other classes.
