New Horizons Elementary School fifth grade dual language student Sophia Hernandez recently won the Wellington Rotary Club Peace Poster Contest. Students participated by creating posters depicting their vision of world peace. Hernandez will receive a monetary award at the United Nations World Peace Day Celebration on Sept. 20 at the Wellington Rotary Peace Park.
