Thirty-four moms and their children gathered Saturday, Aug. 2 at the Whole Foods Market in Wellington for La Leche League’s breastfeeding event “The Big Latch On,” a global event where moms strive to raise awareness by breaking the record for the most women simultaneously breastfeeding. The Wellington group meets the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at Wellington Regional Medical Center.
