More than 100 new students plus their families attended the New Student Orientation Breakfast at Berean Christian School on Thursday, Aug. 7.
The students represent the largest new student group that Berean Christian School has had at the beginning of a single school year. The time is set aside each year to help new students acclimate themselves to the campus, meet the teachers and acquaint themselves with everyday life at Berean.
Headmaster William Dupere formally welcomed students and parents and took the opportunity to share his vision for the school year.
The next portion of the morning involved student leaders such as the Student Council and the National Honor Society guiding new students to classrooms, helping with lockers and touring the campus. It was an effort to help new students feel more comfortable and at home on the campus.
