The West Palm Beach GreenMarket will host a Gift Giveback on Saturday, Dec. 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the West Palm Beach Waterfront. Patrons who received unwanted or duplicate holiday gifts can bring them to the market for a good cause. Gifts can be dropped off at a tent located next to Sandi, the holiday tree, on the Great Lawn.
Donated items will be re-gifted to the Wellington-based charity Back to Basics to bring some cheer to underprivileged children in Palm Beach and Martin counties during this holiday season. Back to Basics serves needy children by raising their self-esteem, keeping them in school, enabling self-sufficiency and investing in their future. The organization is requesting toys and other children’s items for the holiday season.
