Palm Beach Central High School students recently competed at the state science fair. Congratulations to Jessica Young, third place in animal science; Celinie Nguyen, third place in environmental science; Amy Polen, fourth place in animal science along with a $1,000 award from Sea Grant; Lindsay Placius, fi rst place in medical science and the Ying Scholar Award for best in show; and Nikita Bozicevic, fourth place in microbiology and a $10,000 scholarship from the University of Florida. Young, Nguyen and Placius will be competing at the International Science & Engineering Fair in Phoenix this May.
