Eric M. Juckett received his certified district manager (CDM) designation from the Florida Association of Special Districts (FASD) at its annual conference on June 9. Juckett completed coursework and an annual project.
Juckett is an operations manager for the Village of Wellington, where he uses his extensive supervisory, public safety, outreach, customer service, and parks and recreation experience.
FASD, in conjunction with the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, created the CDM program and partners with Florida State University’s Askew School of Government to provide a strong certification program recognizing professional and educational accomplishments. Subjects covered include contract management and procurement, project management, intergovernmental affairs, public information and public relations, strategic planning and budgeting, elected official relations, ethics, Sunshine law and collective bargaining.
