The Loxahatchee Chapter of the Florida Trail Association held its annual Labor Day Ice Cream Social on Monday, Sept. 5 at the Okeeheelee Nature Center. Ice cream, toppings and sweets were served. The guest speakers were archaeologist Sara Ayers-Rigsby and anthropologist Andres Garzon, who discussed historical dig sites in Florida.
