Pastor Sally Cook was recently installed as the new pastor at St. Michael Lutheran Church in Wellington. Cook graduated from Valparaiso University with degrees in psychology and theology. She received her master’s degree in divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. Prior entering the ordained ministry, Cook worked with Lutheran Ministries of Florida as a pediatric social worker in hospice and hospital settings. Cook previously served at congregations in the Clearwater/Tampa/Sarasota area. She served the wider church as a member of the Florida Bahamas Synod Council and was a voting member at the 2013 ELCA Churchwide Assembly. She and her husband Greg are delighted to be new residents of Wellington and look forward to being a part of the St. Michael family.
