The Forum Club of the Palm Beaches will host Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein for a noon luncheon on Friday, Jan. 5 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center (650 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach).
As deputy attorney general, Rosenstein advises and assists the attorney general in formulating and implementing Department of Justice policies and programs. He also helps in providing overall supervision to all organizational units of the department. As such, he was responsible for appointing Robert Mueller earlier this year as the special counsel in charge of investigating Russia’s involvement in the 2016 presidential election. He also currently oversees the ongoing investigation.
