Nancy Hart, chair of the upcoming Richard David Kann (RDK) Melanoma Foundation’s 19th annual Luncheon & Fashion Show, and her husband Joel recently opened their gorgeous home in Palm Beach Gardens for a special cocktail event that featured American sculptor John Raimondi and glass expert Norm Silver.
Nearly 100 guests attended the evening, which included cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Those in attendance also learned about the newest initiatives by the RDK Melanoma Foundation and the successful distributions of sunscreen dispensers.
“We are truly grateful to the Harts for believing in our mission and hosting such a lovely evening to help spread our message about sun safe behaviors and achieve our vision of reducing cases of skin cancer and saving lives,” said Stacy Ostrau, executive director of the RDK Melanoma Foundation.
The foundation will host the 19th annual Luncheon and Fashion Show “Eclipse 2018” on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at the Breakers Palm Beach.
Nancy Hart will serve as luncheon chair, and the national honorary chair is Merrill Fisher Gottesman. The highly anticipated event begins at 10:30 a.m. featuring a world-class silent auction, and at noon, a gourmet luncheon and runway fashion show by designer Rubin Singer.
The Luncheon and Fashion Show will raise funds for the foundation’s mission to save lives through education about the prevention and early detection of skin cancer, especially melanoma, its deadliest form. For more info., visit www.melanomafoundation.com.
