The Rainforest Clinic for Birds & Exotics (3319 E Road, Loxahatchee Groves) will host its annual Rainforest Parrot Party on Sunday, Feb. 11 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fun for the entire family will include vendor booths with a variety of parrot and pet supplies, crafts, art and more. There will be educational talks and entertaining animal presentations throughout the day, a variety of food trucks, live music, cane pole fishing, face painting and a bounce house for the kids. Adoptions of parrots, as well and dogs from local rescues, will be available.
With more than 400 people expected to attend, the Rainforest Parrot Party will be the largest one-day outdoor bird event in South Florida. Admission is $5 for age 13 and older. Children 12 and under are free accompanied by adults. There is no admission charge to visit the adoption area. Ample free parking is available.
