The Wellington Wrestling Club competed at the Father Devine Invitational last weekend held at Osceola High School, which is the qualifier to attend the Southeast Regional National event held in Atlanta. Here are the local place-winners from the event:
In Freestyle: Jake Maffi (second place), Tyler Gray (third place), James Kosza (fourth place) and Andrew Kosza (fifth place). In Greco Roman: Jake Maffi (third place) and Tyler Gray (third place).
The Wellington Wrestling Club will be traveling next to Osceola High School May 4-5 to compete at the Florida State Freestyle & Greco Roman tournament.
