Polo Park Middle School’s science students met early before school April 12 to create a living memorial to the students and teachers who were victims of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School tragedy. Rich Williams Nursery, a local business, donated four palm trees. Krista Gulbrand’s students provided the labor for the effort. Future plans for the memorial include the placement and dedication of a memorial plaque.
