For the first time in program history, the Royal Palm Beach High School wrestling team will have an athlete representing the school and state on the Florida National Team. Coming off of a fourth-place finish at the state tournament, Winnie Cajuste qualified at her weight class of 106 pounds last month in Orlando and secured her spot on the Florida National Team, where she will travel to Atlanta, Ga., in May; Oklahoma City, Okla., in June; and Fargo, N.D. in July. She will be traveling to compete against the best girls from each state. This amazing accomplishment is a huge step toward her goal of becoming nationally ranked. Cajuste has managed to accomplish all of this while still maintaining a 4.0 GPA in the IB program.
