Kim Eikov, a manager with the Village of Wellington, recently received the Most Valuable Member of the Year Award for 2018 at the Florida Association of Special Districts (FASD) Annual Conference in Orlando.
The FASD Most Valuable Member Award is presented to a member who, over time, has demonstrated commitment, contribution, leadership and support of the association.
Eikov received this for her ongoing work, starting with not only successfully completing the Certified District Manager program, but also for encouraging so many more people to complete the CDM program.
Eikov continuously supports and promotes FASD and has initiated the FASD Ambassador Program to further help new members and first-time attendees to gain the full benefits of all FASD has to offer. Eikov also serves as the co-chair of the FASD Educational Foundation. Her enthusiasm, dedication and overall tenacity are greatly appreciated by the board, as well as event participants.
FASD unifies and strengthens special purpose government through education, the exchange of ideas and active involvement in the legislative process. For information, visit www.fasd.com.
