Each of the following area graduating seniors recently received $500 scholarships from the Palm Beach County CTA-Retired:
Morgan Juanita Frederick from Palm Beach Gardens High School plans to attend Florida Atlantic University and major in neuroscience.
Devyn Aniya Hill attended William T. Dwyer High School and has plans to attend Florida A&M University majoring in biomedical engineering.
Yo’lisha Ja’Cara Siverain recently graduated from Glades Central High School and will seek a degree in criminal justice from Florida A&M University.
Johnisia Tyler also graduated from Glades Central High School. She plans to attend Florida A&M University and major in biology.
Cameron Anai Williams, an Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts graduate, will attend New York’s prestigious Juilliard School and major in music.
Since its inception in 1992, the Palm Beach County CTA-Retired has focused on improving the lives of area students through scholarships, awards, volunteer endeavors and is focused on making teachers, parents and all students a major concern.
