National Day On Writing Contest At PBSC

The Loxahatchee Groves campus of Palm Beach State College held a National Day on Writing Contest on Wednesday, Oct. 17. The theme was “a picture is worth 20 words,” with students challenged to write a poem or short story using exactly 20 words based on one of four provided images. The winning entry was provided by Karen Campbell. Second place went to Heather Perdue, and Siana Palmero took third.
