Celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Okeeheelee Nature Center, located in Okeeheelee Park at 7715 Forest Hill Blvd.
This free, family event will feature a variety of happenings throughout the day. Activities will include educational presentations, hands-on science activities, a rehabilitated animal release and more.
Watch fascinating woodworking demonstrations by the Palm Beach County Woodturners, get an up-close look at reptiles with the South Florida Herpetological Society, build an environmental craft with Home Depot and meet horses from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Unit.
The Earth Day event is sponsored by the Friends of Okeeheelee Nature Center.
