U.S. Navy Admiral William H. McRaven (Ret.) will join the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches for a luncheon event and book signing on Friday, May 31 at the Kravis Center’s Cohen Pavilion (701 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach).
In his 37 years as a U.S. Navy SEAL, McRaven commanded at every level. His final assignment was commander of all U.S. Special Operations Forces, during which time he led a force of 69,000 men and women and was responsible for conducting counter-terrorism operations worldwide. McRaven is credited with organizing and overseeing the execution of Operation Neptune Spear, the special ops raid that led to the death of Osama bin Laden in May 2011. He also commanded the troops that captured Saddam Hussein and rescued Capt. Richard Phillips.
This event is open to the public, and tickets can be purchased online at www.forumclubpalmbeach.org or by contacting Kelsey Joyce at kjoyce@forumclubpb.com.
