Teacher Susan Prieto held an amazing event at Equestrian Trails Elementary School on Tuesday, Sept. 24 for her fifth-grade classes, where the students were given the experience to sit down and hear the stories of the members of the Child Survivors/Hidden Children of the Holocaust. Each special guest spoke openly with the students and answered questions. Several of last year’s fifth-grade students also attended, where they were able to interact with the visitors and share drawings that they created last year of the Holocaust survivors. These portraits are displayed in the school’s hallway.
