Toting broom handles, bright yellow bouncy balls and Bazooka bubblegum, the Wycliffe Stiffs Stickball League opened its 2019 season on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at Village Park in Wellington. Four out of the five teams in the league stepped up to the faux manhole cover “plate,” ready to reminisce about their childhood days playing the street sport.
