The Wellington United Sisterhood collected approximately 150 toys for children in need at a special event at Kontiki restaurant on Sunday, Dec. 8, loading them onto the back of a Palm Beach County Fire-Rescue truck to transfer to the Guatemalan-Maya Center in Lake Worth. This was the 10th collection for the sisterhood, a group of about 40 friends who get together each year to help provide Christmas presents for underprivileged children.
