Wellington Elementary School is proud to announce that first-grade student Magnolia “Maggie” Welsh was the third-place winner in this year’s Honda Classic Kid’s Ticket Art Competition. Her artwork was chosen out of all Palm Beach County students who entered. The Honda Classic will be placing her artwork on to the kids’ ticket pass that children will be wearing who attend the Honda Classic Golf Tournament in March. The school’s art department will be awarded a $250 check because of her accomplishment. Shown above is art teacher Erica Bordonaro with Welsh, displaying her winning piece.
