Barky Pines Animal Rescue & Sanctuary hosted its first Puppy Love 5K at Royal Palm Beach Commons Park on Saturday, Feb. 15. Hundreds of runners and dogs of all sizes and breeds were ready at the starting line for both a 5K and a 1K race. Members of Leadership Palm Beach County’s Class of 2020 were inspired by a presentation from the rescue and chose to help coordinate the event.
