Genbu-Kai Karate in Wellington recently announced the advancement of one of its adult students to the rank of Ni-Dan (second degree black belt) in the art of Batto-Do. Julian Sanchez traveled to California in February 2020 to test for this level, also competing and placing during the annual championships.
