Swank Specialty Produce Announces New Event Season

The unique Swank Table dinners take place in the rustic pole barn at Swank Specialty Produce.

Swank Specialty Produce has announced the schedule for its highly anticipated Swank Table series, featuring 10 enchanting al fresco dinners set on the farm. The series starts on Sunday, Nov. 12, with a festive Fall Harvest Hoe Down.

Showcasing the finest of Florida’s farmers, ranchers, artisanal producers, micro-brewers, distillers and winemakers, top-tier chefs come together to curate a multicourse dinner, highlighting the very best ingredients. Every Swank Table event contributes to a local charity, imbuing each dining experience with a more profound sense of purpose.

The evening commences with a refreshing welcome cocktail, courtesy of UNA Vodka and Miami Club Rum, and an amuse-bouche to stimulate the palate. Attendees will then be treated to a selection of canapés featuring four distinct appetizers crafted by the featured chefs, paired with bubbles. Guests are invited to take a tour of the hydroponic grow houses, personally guided by owner Darrin Swank, or simply meander through the fields, witnessing a working farm in action. The pinnacle of the evening unfolds with a delectable five-course plated dinner beneath Swank’s rustic pole barn. Live music from South Florida musicians fills the space during the memorable evening.

This season, Swank welcomes Jon Sarmiento to the role of lead chef liaison. A valued member of the Swank chef team for three years, he brings experience on and off the farm at establishments such as Cholo Soy and Palm Beach Meats.

Swank Table will also showcase a lineup of exciting new participating chefs, including South Florida’s own Carlos Garcia from Leku, Brian Nasajon of Beaker & Gray, Akino West from Rosie’s, Chef Moon of Sushi by Bou, Johnny Demartini from Ravish, Huy Hoang from Le Colonial, Warren’s Jen Knox and the renowned Antonio Bachour. Additionally, the farm will host visiting chefs Fabian Di Paulo from Shearwater Tavern in California, Jonathan Merry from Riverhouse in Maine, and the highly anticipated return of Buccan’s Clay Connley.

In celebration of Florida’s rich agricultural tapestry, Swank Specialty Produce will kick off its bountiful Farmers Market on Saturday, Oct. 14. This market takes place every Saturday through May from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering an array of farm-fresh lettuces, vegetables, herbs and wildflower bouquets from Swank Farm. Guests can enjoy live music and explore a variety of exceptional goods from 25 local vendors.
