The Wellington Rotary Club held its 17th annual World Peace Day Ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 24 at Wellington Rotary Peace Park. At the ceremony, student awards were presented to the winners of the elementary school art contest, the middle school poetry contest and the high school essay contest. A number of special awards were also presented before doves were released.
