Theatre Arts Productions will host youth acting classes starting this month at the Wellington Community Center.
The classes will run from Nov. 7 through Dec. 12 and will focus on the skills needed in theater and acting, including vocabulary, stage direction, memorization, cold reading and character development. Theater games and improv will help participants get to the next level with the acting process.
Little Stars (ages 3 to 5) will be held Tuesdays from 9 to 10 a.m.; Youth Stars (ages 6 to 9) will be held Tuesdays from 4 to 5 p.m.; and Teen Stars (ages 10 to 17) will be held Tuesdays from 5 to 6 p.m.
The cost is $75 for Wellington residents and $93 for non-residents. Class age groups may be adjusted based on experience at the instructors’ discretion.
