Delmar Farm’s Halloween Spooky Fest was held Saturday, Oct. 21 as a fundraiser for the nonprofit equine and farm animal sanctuary. Located in Deer Run, Delmar Farm welcomed more than 300 pre-registered guests. There was a long walk through a “haunted forest” with lots of animatronics and actors, along with a ghost lady in the “cemetery” telling tales from the crypt, story time, bingo games and other carnival-style games. Guests could visit the witch in her cottage or spend time with the fortuneteller. Lots of prizes were handed out, and there was even a costume parade. Miniature horses and farm animals were on hand for photo ops. Next up at Delmar is its popular holiday event, Winter Wonderland, set for Saturday, Dec. 16.
