The Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County, in collaboration with the Western Palm Beach County Farm Bureau, hosted the annual Farm City Luncheon on Thursday, Nov. 15, presented by Baptist Health South Florida at the South Florida Fairgrounds. Nearly 400 attendees heard from keynote speaker Florida Agriculture & Consumer Services Commissioner Wilton Simpson, followed by a panel discussion featuring young farmers on “Farming Today for Tomorrow.” The annual Farm City luncheon was created to highlight the important economic contribution of the agricultural industry in Palm Beach County.
