Palm Beach Central High School senior Emma Allison recently completed her internship at the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience. She presented her project, which was titled, “The Optogenetic Induction of Synaptic Plasticity on a Single Dendritic Spine.” Allison worked under Dr. Tetsuya Watabe in the Yasuda Lab and is part of the Experimental Science program at Palm Beach Central.
