On Wednesday, Sept. 25, Palm Beach Central High School student Angelica Ramirez was honored at the Hispanic Heritage Awards Celebration organized by the Florida Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce (FHACC). Ramirez, a senior and member of Palm Beach Central High School’s Latinos In Action (LIA) group, received an award for her outstanding academic achievement, school performance and community service. The event was held at the Hilton Palm Beach Airport Hotel in West Palm Beach.
