Wellington Elementary School participated in the Heroes for Education 5K at John Prince Park on Sunday, Oct. 6. Enthusiastic runners, walkers, volunteers and supporters of education come together annually to help promote health and wellness while making an impact in Palm Beach County’s public schools. The Wellington Elementary Wildcats Team consisted of students and their families, staff and administration. Assistant Principal Donna Dekersky came in third in her age group.
