Panther Run Elementary School was the big winner at the 10th annual Heroes for Education 5K/Walk on Sunday, Oct. 6 at John Prince Park in Lake Worth. Panther Run received the award for the largest overall participating team and earned a $1,250 grant. Panther Run has won this award for the past several years. Hundreds of teachers and students participated in the event to support public education in Palm Beach County.Â
