On Saturday, Dec. 7, resident Stacy Quick headed up the first Shoma Community Cleanup, including a meet-and-greet and brunch. About 50 members of the Royal Palm Beach neighborhood set out to clean up the area and get to know their neighbors. Some of the first kids to show up at the event received gift cards and ice cream tokens. After the cleanup, a light brunch was available to anyone who wanted to get to know their neighbors. Future events are planned for the Shoma community to bring people together.
