HCA Florida Palms West Hospital welcomes the community to learn more about robotic surgery and hear from leading robotic surgeons in their field at its third annual Robotics Night on Monday, May 12.
Participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at robotic surgery and enjoy a panel discussion on the latest capabilities and benefits of robotic surgery.
In 2022, HCA Florida Palms West Hospital was the first hospital in Palm Beach County to be accredited by Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) as Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery based on rigorous standards of high-quality care and patient safety.
With five robotic platforms, HCA Florida Palms West Hospital makes a robotics-first commitment for its patients with the goal of better patient outcomes. Because of that, more than 1,300 robotic surgeries are performed each year and more than 22,000 robotic surgeries have been performed at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital Palms West.
Robotics Night will be hosted at the Palm Beach State College Loxahatchee Groves campus, located at 15845 Southern Blvd., on Monday, May 12. The robot will be available to try from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and there will be a panel discussion with robotic surgeons from 6-7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
