The Loxahatchee Groves Landowners’ Association Adopt-A-Road Event was held on Saturday, April 5 with a cleanup of Okeechobee Blvd. The event was successful due to wonderful volunteers from surrounding schools, support from Palm Beach County School Board Member Marcia Andrews and the LGLA board members that made it happen.
Special thanks to Western Pines Middle School, Seminole Ridge High School, Royal Palm Beach High School and Wellington High School for providing volunteers from across the western communities. The LGLA thanks the Western Pines students, teachers and principal, who showed up with the most volunteers to help clean up and take pride in the community.
LGLA board members made this special event happen. Thanks go to Paul Coleman, Marge Herzog, Mary McNicholas, Anita Kane, Karen Plante, Peter LoMuto, Jo Siciliano and Lisa El-Ramey.
The LGLA also thanks its community partners, especially Red Barn Feed and Supply for always hosting the event, Palm Beach County Engineering and Home Depot for supplies, and the Town of Loxahatchee Groves staff for their assistance.
