The Wellington Christian School Family Worship Center was transformed into a world “under the sea” for the annual Father Daughter Dance hosted by the school’s PTF on Friday, Feb. 10.
WCS fathers and daughters were welcomed and surrounded by a sea of bubbles and balloons. Beautiful beta fish were featured as table center pieces, which were given out as door prizes to eight lucky young ladies. The event featured a candy bar, DJ, photographer, dancing, grade-level contests and a “dad dance-off.”
This year’s father daughter dance was the vision of Father Daughter Dance Event Chair Julie Canavan. She was pleased to see how the night went. “All the dads and daughters enjoyed a very special evening, dancing the night away, under the sea,” Canavan said.
