Bass Fishing Kids Palm Beach County held a fishing tournament Saturday, June 9 at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach.
The results were as follows:
• Small Fry Division — First place, Ethan Rogge of Weston, 3.48 lbs.; second place, Kyle Beck of Coral Springs, 3.47 lbs.; and third place, Blake Weger of Wellington, 2.63 lbs.
• Junior Division — First place, Ryan Kennon of Margate, 5.46 lbs.; second place, Ariel Mendez of Pembroke Pines, 5.27 lbs.; and third place, Silvo Gonzalez of Homestead, 4.48 lbs.
The Big Fish winner was Mendez with a fish weighing 2.61 lbs.
